The Borough of Minersville is seeking applications for a full time Borough Manager/Sewer Authority Manager. The Borough has a population of approximately 4300 residents. The Borough and Authority have combined annual budgets of approximately $3,000,000. The Borough and Authority employs 17 full time employees.
The ideal applicant will possess a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, community and economic development, engineering or a related field; will be proactive in promoting the Borough and have experience in grant writing. Strong administrative, financial and budget skills are necessary, as are strong intergovernmental skills and good interpersonal and communication skills. A Wastewater Management license and fiscal management skills will be assets.
The Borough Manager is appointed by a seven-member council and is the chief administrator of the Borough overseeing department heads, budget preparation and personnel. The salary for this position will range from $50,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
